Wood Choices

Protect your Fence with a Footer

Some fence styles, like picket fences, are raised off the ground to protect wood from moisture and/or termites. Wooden privacy fences, however, are designed to rest as close to the ground as possible.

Experienced fence installers will ask you to choose a footing to protect your investment.

Vinyl Choices

Traditional Vinyl

Now available in a huge variety of subtle shades that match vinyl siding colors and homeowner's preferences, vinyl fencing is a much-improved product from that produced as recently as ten years ago.

Faux Wood Vinyl

Once a poor substitute for wood fence panels, thanks to the Bufftech Vinyl Fence Company the process of wood grain emulation has finally come into its own.

Available in asoundingly beautiful hues, Wood Grain vinyl is finally a viable alternative to wood.

Faux Stone Vinyl

Once thought impossible to accomplish, a company called Simtech has managed to create vinyl panels that do an excellent job of emulating stone fencing. Although nothing can compare with the look of real stone, these vinyl panels are increasingly competing with similar products created from cast stone.

Vinyl Toppers

Stone and Brick fences look simply amazing when topped with fencing materials. Vinyl has recently begun to offer a variety of viable products for this purpose that are both attractive and practical.

Ranch Fences, Split Rail Fences, and Lattice Fences are just a few examples of mid-height fences.

Available in all the metals as well as wood, vinyl, brick, stone, or stucco. There are even a few innovative designs Cast Stone.

Cast Stone Choices

Faux Masonry Cast Stone

Precast Concrete products have been around since the Twelfth Century, but never before have they been so versatile. In fact, Omega Companies has dedicated an entire website to the subject! (Link)

Faux Stone Concrete panels are beautiful both inside and out and last for generations!

Stacked Cast Stone

Cast Stone is available in both individual blocks and sections that can be mounted to form any configuration. For this reason, they are extremely popular as retaining walls and where curved or dynamically shaped walls and fences are required.

Metal Choices

Welded Steel

Today's steel fencing products are painted using automotive paints and methodologies. This ensures the longevity of welded steel joints and provides a clean, durable surface that will last for generations.

Ornamental Aluminum

Surprisingly, today's aluminum fencing strongly resembles wrought iron. Fence panels are usually powder coated, which sufficiently protects them for decades in most climates. For costal properties, polyester paints keep them corrosive free,

Ornamental Iron

Only a few blacksmiths still create wrouht iron. However, ornamental steel products have preserved the look in their varied line of products. If you own a genuine wrought iron piece, be sure to regularly check it for gaps in the protective covering. Professionals can reseal these areas and preserve your treasure.

Galvanized Steel

Wholly capable of being shaped into ornamental iron designs, galvanized steel, like aluminum, is highly resistent to rust; and is powder-coated to protect it from both moisture and UV rays.
